As a Muslim character, I prepared to go on Hajj, but during the "leaving" events, I was suddenly captured and imprisoned. I paid my ransom shortly thereafter, but by then the Hajj event chain was interrupted. I remained in a pilgrimage for more than 20 years, without a way of getting out, stuck in a perpetual regency. I kept getting the "helped others with wudu" event every once in a while. Eventually my character died and the game resumed.
Steps to reproduce the issue.
Be imprisoned just as you start to go on a pilgrimage.
