One line summary of your issue
Ruler loses ALL his demesne troops after abdication of predecessor

Game Version
3.0

What expansions do you have installed?
All of the above

Do you have mods enabled?
No

Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
In an Ironman game I was the ruler of a custom kingdom (Kent) when I got excommunicated. The vastly more powerful king of West France or whatever declared war to me with the excommunicated ruler CB.

Inevitably, I lost, and I abdicated in favor of my heir with seniority succession. My current character is now correctly the king of Kent + his previous land.

The bug that I experience is that the new ruler has 0/0/0 troops from his own demesne, and it's a real game-breaker. Indeed, with no troops of my own, my vassals immediately jump at my throat and I have no possibility of defending myself.

I will edit this post to upload a save file and a screenshot once I am home.

Steps to reproduce the issue.
Be an excommunicated ruler. Abdicate in favor of your heir after a lost war declared with the excommunicated ruler CB.

Your current ruler has now 0/0/0 troops from the demesne.

Just to clarify. Levies from previous owned demesne of your heir, that weren't raised and were full, depleted?

There are NO more levies from the current personal demesne (so most of the kingdom of Kent, inherited from the excommunicated former king, plus a county somewhere in Austrasia).
The levies were raised during the inheritance step, but right after that, since the war was over, I dismissed them. After that action, they completely disappeared.

Borrowing a picture from the CK2 wiki to clarify:

Levies

For me, the From Demesne row reports 0 / 0 / 0, which I believe should be impossible. And for me that game is virtually over.
