CK II off center

When I try to play CK II through steam it's off center, like the image shows. The bottom and part of the right of the screen are cut off. The problem is not exclusive to CK II, actually, all my steam games are doing it. I recently wiped my computer and reinstalled steam, and this has been the result. I uninstalled steam and reinstalled it again, but it's still messing up. My "change the size of all items" is currently set to medium, but some things (such as the right click menu and the taskbar) still seem kinda small though, and I don't know if that has anything to do with it. Has anyone else had this problem?

It seems likely to be a video driver problem, or a graphics setup problem. If your monitor has a button called something like AUTO or SYNC press it , it should readjust.

Failing that: DXDIAG is a program you run from a command prompt or the Windows start menu 'run' dialog box (or 'search programs' in Windows 7). After running it will open a window and start collecting info with a progress bar in the lower-left corner. When it completes click the 'save all information' button and save it to a file then post the first part of that file (from the top down to include "Sound Devices" only) here.

Well, that all looks perfectly fine. Only Steam games, you say? What if you exit Steam and run ck2game.exe manually? Or any non-Steam game you have?

For this game you could go into Windowed mode and reduce the resolution to fit on the screen, but that's not addressing the basic problem, whatever it is.

Running CK II manually produces the same results. Don't Starve starts normally in windowed mode, so I was able to make sure that it was using 1920 x 1080 fullscreen resolution, and it was. When I started a non-steam game, however, it worked perfectly, so the problem has to be with steam.

Well no, since when you start CK2 manually Steam is not involved at all.

Try this: right-click on ck2game.exe and and select "Properties". Click on the "Compatibility" tab, and under "Settings", check the box next to "Disable display scaling on high DPI settings".
