One line summary of your issue
Monastic Feudal Son Cannot Inherit
Game Version
V3.0
What expansions do you have installed?
All of the above
Do you have mods enabled?
No
Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
Okay, so I was playing in an attempt to get that Hepthalite/White Huns Achievement, with the added goal of Reforming the Bon faith. By a stroke of unintened luck, a distant cousin of mine became Empress of Tibet, so I married her and had two children. One was a daughter and the other was a son.
The son was next in line to the Tibetan throne. He was also next in line to my throne. My wife, the Bodpa Buddhist Empress, died shortly after and the son inherited the throne. Both of us had Agnatic or Agnatic-Cognatic Primogeniture.
That's when I got the issue you saw below.
As you can plainly see, my heir is NOT the Emperor of Tibet, who is my son. He's some distant cousin I don't even remember having!
This is in spite of the fact that when I switched to Agnatic-Cognatic, the Emperor's sister became my heir, AND, when I abdicated to that sister, she was next in line for Tibet!
What on the earth is happening here? Thank you for any assistance you may render!
Steps to reproduce the issue.
1. Play as Saka Hindu character
2. Marry Empress of Tibet
3. Have son with Empress
4. Set Succession Law to Primogeniture
5. Kill Empress of Tibet
