Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
My vote as Emperor in Byzantium is getting less and less worth for "discharging competent commanders" without having discharged any commanders.
It is possible that this is caused by commanders being removed due to them becoming ineligible or resigning on their own, but this probably shouldn't happen unless you explicitly remove the commander. Having your vote diluted because of handing out a viceroyalty is probably what's happening, but it doesn't make much sense.
The attached file is from having held the throne for 5 years, no commanders fired though plenty have resigned or disappeared. Vote is reduced by 40.
Steps to reproduce the issue.
Play as Emperor of Byzantium
Don't fire any commanders, but just play normally
Vote will get diluted as commanders resign or become ineligible as commanders
