Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
Pope called crusade, and AI Venice changed target to Constantinople. I chose a non-landed dynasty member as beneficiary. I was major contributor, and dynasty member was awarded titular Crusader Kingdom of Thrace. No de jure territory. No vassals. No counties, just the empty title. Simmed forward a few days, and the title disappeared, but the character maintained a claim to the title. The Byzantine Empire remained intact. The emperor's vassal King of Thrace was unchanged. Both Byzantine Emperor and King of Thrace were Orthodox.
