Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
A Holy War was declared against Aquitaine in about 920 (769 start). I was playing as the Skelleros of Calabria, a Byzantine vassal. I decided to join the Holy War. I was technically at war with some random other country (via the Byzantine emperor). I sent troops to France to fight in the crusade. Since they were a small force, I attached them to an Allied army (blue). That army merged with yet another Allied army (blue) and my troops were immediately killed. Apparently, my enemy from the other war (which I was only indirectly fighting) was an Ally in the crusade and, when my troops met his, they defeated me.
Enemy troops need to be Red always. They should NEVER be blue, since that shows that you are allies with them. I didn't lose much in this instance, but I certainly could have.
Steps to reproduce the issue.
Go on Crusade when your lord is at war with somebody. Your lord's enemy also needs to join the Crusade. The enemy army will appear blue (Allied) even though it is still your enemy.
