CK II Converter and Gamer's Gate Version of CK II

I'm trying to decide whether to pre-order EU IV on gamer's gate or steam. I've got the gamer's gate version of CK II and want to avoid inadvertently creating a big mess. Is the CK II converter run out of EU IV or CK II?

Its CKII DLC, so buy it for the platform you have. Since you have it on GG, buy it on GG. I am sure it has been said multiple times before though.

My big issue is that I already have the Steam version preordered, and it'd be annoying at best to cancel that...I might need to chat with Paradox Support about this at some point.

I have exactly the same problem. At this point I'm reluctant to cancel anything.
