Steps to reproduce the issue.
Invaded china via Chinese menu.
Set my own wife (and relative) as claimant.
Chinese armies marched forward to my capital of Debul and siege it.
The only valuable they got is my wife (-50% to warscore accually).
Killed them all to got my victory.
My wife now is Emperess.
But she still a prisoner of Chinese Empire - herself now.
After several years in game - nothing changed.
I went to kowtow to her and got a nice reception, but she still considered as prisoner of herself.
