Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
Characters can reach adulthood, have a normal portrait in the game, and somehow still have a child's portrait in the family tree window.

Steps to reproduce the issue.
Not sure, the character did eventually get a normal portrait in the family tree once he reached old age. So I can't exactly attach the save.

Also of note, the brother's portrait (not to mention the heir) is wearing different clothes in the family tree window than in the family window, despite him being deceased.
