Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
When I was first in the voting order, I used a faction to overthrow the sitting Basileus via war. After the war was won not only did it give me throne and change some council laws, it also changed the succesionlaw to "standard" elective and goverment type to feudal. There used to be an option to change succesionlaw to imperial elective back in the succesionlaw screen, but it disapeared. I dont know when exaklty but I think it was after I passed the "limit council authority" law.
The list of possible candidates is also bizarre in some ways, I cant vote for my children (even the landed duke). I can vote for my grandchildren, aswell as other seemingly random shia kids. (and the standard duke choices but nothing wrong there).
Steps to reproduce the issue.
In ERE, start a "overthrow ruler" faction. Press demand, get denied, win civil war. Then change council laws for extra wierdness.
