(My mods are only soundtrack ones, they don't change the checksum.)
This might be a game feature but it's dumb enough that I think it's probably a bug. As a nomad, every time my character dies all holdings I had been pillaging stop pillaging and I have to tell them all the start pillaging again. It is extremely frustrating.
Steps to reproduce the issue.
Conquer something as a nomad, pillage it, then die before it completely pillages to the ground. None of your holdings will be pillaging anymore.
