One line summary of your issue
[3.0] Vanishing Army
Game Version
[3.0]
What expansions do you have installed?
All of the above
Do you have mods enabled?
No
Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
I also have Holy Fury installed and active, though it is not listed above.
This might be an isolated incident.
In my ambition to become King of England, I managed to petition the Pope to grant me a prepared invasion of Mercia. This took a lot of doing, a lot of gold, and a lot of other behind-the-secenes work, but I finally got the Pope to approve my claim. I put together some more money, and claimed Mercia. 10,000 troops appeared out of nowhere from Mercia in my Kingdom disrupting my plans to put together my armies. But I was able to overcome that as they went to beseige my capital. I bought enough mercenaries to defeat the army, marched to my Capital and won the battle.
Then my army vanished. I still had the money needed to pay the mercenaries, but not a single troop remained from the entire army, and the Mercian army which had been defeated, and was reduce to less than 7,000 remained in my capital, continuing to besiege it.
Steps to reproduce the issue.
1) Get the Pope to let you press a claim.
2) Use an army composed in large part of mercenaries to defeat an enemy army.
