Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
Overtook my liege's kingdom (Lombardy). Proceeded to start dismantling the clusterfuck of bordergore the incompetent rulers had managed to assemble, starting with a great duke who held exactly 2 de jure counties of those titles. Of course he rebels, we go to war, I squash his army... but can't force a surrender, because the Byzantine Emperor attacked him and occupied a territory.
Allright, that's fair. So I check, see that exactly one holding in one sicilian province is occupied, so I move there to unsiege it (given I'm hostile to the Byzantine emperor due to him attacking a rebelling vassal).
However, arriving there, it turns out that a vassal of the emperor, is standing on the province with 500 men, sieging the province (ad infinitum, because too small). However, I'm not hostile towards the vassal, so I can't actually attack the army, only help it siege down the provinces for the Byzantines, whom I'm hostile to, making it even more impossible to end the war with my rebelling vassal.
I then actually went and helped the guy siege the provinces, in the hope he would then move off and let me re-siege the provinces back, but turns out he just kept standing there, and every time I 'unsieged' the capital holding, he took control of the siege and resieged it right away, creating an infinite cycle.
Suggestion:: When a 3rd party attacks a rebelling vassal, all forces aligned with that 3rd party (including vassals/allies) should receive a hostile flag towards the liege of the rebelling vassal, such that the liege can actually defend the vasal's territory and properly end the rebellion.
Steps to reproduce the issue.
1. Have a vassal rebel
2. Have a 3rd party declare war on the rebelling vassal
3. Wait for a vassal of the 3rd party to siege the rebel's provinces?
