One line summary of your issue
3.0 - Imperial Administration Commander Vote Bug - UPDATED INFO
Game Version
3.0
What expansions do you have installed?
All of the above
Do you have mods enabled?
No
Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
As the Byzantine Emperor, I am noticing that I lose votes for the succession election in the new Imperial Military Administration system every time a commander leaves their command without my input. I am referring to them firing themselves from the position of councilor. I have found that they do this for numerous reasons. For example, I've seen them lose command after they start a civil war. A prime example is when a disease is ravaging the land and they lock themselves away in their own courts.
Nonetheless, every time a commander leaves command, the voting system counts it as me firing them even though I have not. Unless I reload saves, I will notice my votes in the election steadily diminish over time without any cause for it to on my part. I've seen my votes go down by 60 votes in the span of just a few months.
It is fixable by loading a past save and replacing the problem commander with a better commander while the problem commander is the worst performing commander. Console helps.
Steps to reproduce the issue.
1. Select the Byzantine Emperor when starting up a new game.
2. To better see what I am talking about, in the game rules you will want to put the diseases on highest settings so there are epidemics often.
3. For the fastest results, appoint commanders from a province that is currently going through an epidemic (it could be a neighboring duke of their infected count even).
4. KEEP TRACK OF YOUR VOTE SCORE OFTEN. IT MAY CHANGE ON A MONTHLY BASIS.
5. Waiting will probably be required. I recommend saving often too!
