One line summary of your issue
[3.0.1] Plot power is broken

Game Version
3.0.1

What expansions do you have installed?
All of the above

No

Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
Okay, so, I get that it's been like this for quite some time already, but seriously, I believe the plot power system is broken.

I can have 900% plot power against a little nephew of mine, I can have like the entire realm supporting me in my quest to murder the bothersome child, including myself as the emperor and most to all of my duke & king level vassals, but somehow we all collectively not only fail to end his life, but the stinking toddler also manages to point his finger at me at the end of it. Or I get moderately lucky and the toddler ONLY points his finger at me, without the whole surviving part. This nation-wide conspiracy thing is just a little less reliable than I think would make sense.

I'd suggest "better" murder plot events that unlock at higher intrigue levels or higher plot power, each with higher possibility of undiscovered success compared to lower-level ones.

I know it seems like I'm just bitter about the many times I got the negative modifiers from murdering someone when I thought it really shouldn't be possible for me to get caught - and that's exactly right. I genuinely believe it doesn't make any logical sense that higher plot power does not equal better planning and higher chance of getting away with it, instead of it depending on like a 50-50 chance (from what it feels like anyway).

Steps to reproduce the issue.

Disclaimer. I'm just another forum member.

Not a bug. It never worked that way.
Something for the Suggestions subforum, for instance for the plot power being misleading and not enough information given
and poor or rather not enough game design, that one has to read the Wiki and the forum to understand a feature.

Plot power only shows attempt chance to happen, so to speak, not to succeed and nothing about discovery.
What matters besides pure plot power number, is how many are involved (regarding discovery) and what traits the plotters have, but especially the traits of the target.
For instance trying to plot against someone who is paranoid and/or in hiding is close to impossible or will likely at least take many years.

Yes, I understand that it's working as intended. What I'm trying to say is that the way it's intended is what's broken, and logic would dictate the system to be different.
But you're right, it would make more sense to post this into suggestions I guess. Sorry about that.
