Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
Whenever my wife has a child, I can't name them. Instead, a pop up shows up telling me directly what the name of the child is going to be and the pop-up that would usually show up where I can write directly, or choose from father/mother or grandparents or ancestor doesn't show up.

Steps to reproduce the issue.
Get your wife pregnant and wait 9 months.
I'm uploading a file right before my wife is due.

So, I kept playing the game and eventually I had a daughter taking the throne and becoming queen.
As soon as she had her first child, the option to choose the chuld's name appeared as well as the icon besides its name if I want to change it later.
Don't know how or why the feature came back.

I'm not sure if this is relevant in your experience, but I feel like I've seen the same thing, and it may have to do with message settings. Unfortunately I'm not able to rattle off any specific setting that would affect this.

I thought about that as well. But the button that allows me to change the name of my children (and grandchildren as well) before they reach 12 years old wouldn't appear as well. It only happened after I got this Queen.
She ruled for 66 years, so I can't tell if it will get disabled now as well.
