[2.8.3.3] [SAHQ] "First wife wants her son to be your heir" event should not fire for MRs
Game Version
[2.8.3.3] [SAHQ]

All of the above

No
Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
As you can see from the screenshot, I got the "first wife wants her son to be your heir" event to fire while:
(1) He was already the heir (from the "designated heir" honorary title)
(2) I was a Muslim MR, so I was not using the normal Muslim Open succssion mechanic.
Both of these are potential issues - the event shouldn't fire if the son in question is already the heir; and the game should not ask you to grant land to someone to affect the succession, when that's not how the succession actually works.
This might be a corner case caused by the fact that, at the time, my son was young and I didn't have the money to buy the election. So, he would inherit my counties but not the top-level title. Maybe that's the problem?
Steps to reproduce the issue.
Unfortunately, I only have the attached screenshot (I forgot to capture a save). But hopefully you can identify the relevant event from the text and get it to fire using the console.
As per the description above, you may or may not need all of the specific circumstances to replicate this:
- Muslim merchant republic (eg. start as Dhofar in 867)
- Player is king-level and independent
- Player has numerous counties but only one duchy - the duchy that contains the capital. (This will be lost on succession if you lose the election.)
- Player's young adult son is the designated heir, but will not win the election to be the next Doge.
