Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
I've submitted this bug before but the holy fury patchnotes bugfixes make no mention of fixing it. The oversight is mercenary companies defecting to you for lack of payment while attached to/in the same province as an enemy army and thus getting immediately destroyed and hurting your warscore. It's very annoying and isn't a rare oversight at all, it has been like this for ages, presumably as long as this event has been in the game, and never been fixed.
Steps to reproduce the issue.
Well I suppose you could take control of an ai char you're at war with and hire a mercenary company then take their money away, though they might dismiss them. Might be able to force trigger the event through cheating? You'd know more about that than me.
