Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
As king, I got a revolt of 3 of my dukes (one in the Netherlands (the leader), one in Brittany, one in Wales) over Gavelkind Succession.

While fighting this revolt (probably unimportant but I was winning, about 50% warscore I believe), the leader, the duke of Holland died, and his Duchy went to the king of Middle Frankia. Sucks, can happen, etc.

However, what then happened was that the other two dukes, in Brittany and Wales, became independent, so I lost two Duchies because someone else died. Note, just to be clear, that those other two Duchies didn't go to Middle Frankia, they simply became independent (but with the same reddish brown color my kingdom (Brittany) has.

I suppose this could technically be intended, but, yeah, it doesn't really make any sense that a revolt leader dying makes the other participants in a revolt independent.
