One line summary of your issue
(2.8.2.1) Very strong minor clan uprising => non-clan revolts literally everywhere

Game Version
2.8.2.1 SAHQ

What expansions do you have installed?

Horse Lords,
Way of Life,
Sons of Abraham,
The Old Gods,
The Republic,
Legacy of Rome,
Sword of Islam

Do you have mods enabled?
No

Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
I was playing the Magyars from 867 and ate most of southern and central Europe in 30 years while giving out practically no counties to my vassal clans. Absorbed a clan so I could raze the barony in their only county and provoke a minor clan uprising, which is really a great thing sometimes because, if you immediately surrender, you get a new vassal clan with practically no land and a nice fat stack of event troops.

Was a bit confused, to say the least, when I also got revolt troop stacks of other types in all of my counties that had any type of holding (besides nomadic capitals), which is to say, in all counties where revolts are possible at all. Furthermore, stacks of minor clan revolt troops also spawned everywhere, or at least in very many counties - they will actually fight the non-clan revolt troops once you surrender to the minor clan revolt.

It seems that this is the result of revolt risk in all provinces rising to more than 400% (whatever that actually means) after absorbing the clan, causing an immediate uprising in every county on the next month tick. Also, this causes so many non-disableable "minor clan receives support" and "rebellion receives support" messages to be displayed that the game becomes unplayably sluggish. I managed to work around that by switching to observer mode for a day, then back, but all the armies on the screen simultaneously still slow things down a lot.

Steps to reproduce the issue.
- Play a nomad khagan
- Grow very large (not sure how large exactly) while holding a very large portion of counties personally (almost 100% in my case)
- Absorb a clan and wait until the start of the next month or so
- Gaze in horror at the chaos

Umm, so what is the bug here? You are trying to hold everything that results in the minor clans uprisings. Which then results in a massive civil war that will probably result in a realm being divided many times.

Uprisings isn't a bug.

Saves from before and after absorbing the clan. Let the game run until May to cause the insta-revolution.

If it were only the clan troops, I'd agree - even though the scaling is still pretty ridiculous - but I specifically emphasized there are also other troops, that actually fight the clan troops once you surrender to the clan; and there's also the fact that the game becomes unplayably slow due to all the messages once the uprising happens.

And by the way, as long as you have the maximum number of vassal clans (eight once you're reasonably large), you can indeed own the entire world personally as a khagan with no clan revolts whatsoever. Broken by design since the beginning, same as "clan uprisings => event troop profit" and plenty other things about nomads, but that's not the point here.

You're talking about other revolts that want independence, whether culturally or religious. Which is also intended your realm is in chaos, they are trying to capitalise.

Listen, if you're going to tell me twice how some strange effect is actually totally intended, while not being a developer yourself, and not even really responding to what I wrote, you'd better back it up with something. As is, I've found no official posts with a statement that this is intended behavior and one other thread with some people confused about it. If you have anything else to say about this, send me a PM or whatever, I'm definitely not going to pollute this thread any further.

Edit: Calmed down a bit
