Playing as Rome, I was in a war, and losing badly, with Seleucid, Egypt, Pontus, and Carthage.
I was also in a civil war.
When the last rebel stronghold fell, every territory of mine that was controlled by the Seleucids, Egypt, Pontus, and Carthage, changed permanant ownership from me to the controlling faction. There was no peace settlement, and I was still at war with all. I lost 10-15 territories with no peace deal made.
