should there be a cheat code or event in HOI 3 or HOI IV that causes civil war in any countries say in Britain between the monarchy and communism or in France or maybe a south vs. north un the us or another civil war in Russia maybe triggered by the officer purge event

then do it. its really not that hard. just copy few things here and there from spanich civil war event, add arguments like needed dissent and national unity level and off you go, civil war.

can anyone mod an event for hoi2 for me that is triggered by the Russian officer purges event that causes Russia to be split between the whites and the soviets in a civil war the white leaders are the officers who were suppose to be purged? and the cabinet can be either a Romanov empire or a republic one

you would need to provide exact info. since only about 3-5% of officers were purged, it would be pretty small rebelion.

the core of the rebels would be the generals and Marshall's that you lose with the event and the supporting would random officers and generals of the army as well as random units it could also trigger at the same time revolts of nationalist that declare independence for example Ukraine and other groups that were oppressed or resettled by Stalin and maybe a polish expedition to support the rebel Russians in exchange for their land claims(can be a separate event ) as well as other nations expeditions and support for rebels such as Britain and Germany (can be a separate event )

if hoi2 is same as hoi3 it would be like single day worth of work. not really big feat. you can easily do it yourself. there are events of civil wars not? it could be reverse engeniered to your purposes.

the problem is that im not that good with events and creating a different country including leadership which would be the white Russia im only good at creating or adding new units to the army or navy plus last time i try to create an event or reverse engineered i mess up the file of a country

A split between the whites and the soviets?? It has nothing to do with the Great Purges of 1936-1938...
1917 is long behind, there are no whites any more. The purges were aimed at people who participated to the revolution, and Staline mostly fought its left opposition. So Staline was the "whitest". But Staline was not a "white" neither.

If you want a civil war, I think it would make much more sense to relate this to a low national unity and/or low popularity of the ruling party.

ok make it about low unity or the whites and soviets but create a mod or event similar to the Spanish civil war event that causes civil war in Russia
