Perhaps a colonial territory would be in order? Arizona territory (NM is in there) and Oklahoma territory, if memory serves. And Nebraska Territory.

Ah. I was way off. Good reference, maybe someone with map skills can add player names to each of these or, as people secede, who is in CsA and who is in the Union?

Well I'd consider adding New Mexico but I'd prefer if you played Arizona or well the general territory of New Mexico. Though if you want New Mexico specifically then you can have it.

Yes. 2 in fact. But they make up only a small chunk of my boarder.

I would like to play as the colonial territory of New Mexico.

I would recomend the GM to use a map. If you want I can help you with that.

Some one could play as Indian Territory cause there was fighting with the five civilized tribes (Cherokee, Choctaw, Chickasaw, Creek and Seminole) playing a role in it. Some stayed neutral, some joined the Union the others joined the confederates.
