Maybe if CO had provided modding tools for CIM2, the user base may not have been so small. This is really sad as CIM2 is such a good game.
I have no desire to to play any city building games again (I maxed out on SC4 in the past.), so the CSL modding tools are of no interest to me.

I enjoy CiM, I enjoy CiM 2 less, but then again I've played it less to fully make a judgement on it.

I'm looking forward to Cities: Skylines because I enjoy City Builders and I fully expect to play it and keep on playing SC 4 because I suspect they will give me different experiences.

What I would like to see in the future, and this is a little dream of mine, is a game where it incorporates Transport, City Building and Industry.

Sort of Transport Tycoon, Sim City 4 and Industry Giant II combined. When you play you can choose your focus, design the city, encourage city growth, set up freight transport to fulfil production chains, set up transport networks to satisfy the city or a combination.

Yeah, I can dream
