Could we have more control of the power of city growth? We can currently only vary the effect that new transport links have on local city growth in the rule set editor. But for the main setting for city growth we only get the simple choice of all, or nothing (on or off). It would be a great enhancement if we could control this in the rules editor so that we can vary the rate of overall city growth in the same manner!

I'm sorry, you have completely missed my point! :confused:
I want some city growth; but I want to be able to control (slow) it's rate (It's much to fast!) NOT to turn it off! What I want is a new control in the ruleset to do this, not just turn it on and off as now.
Please do not conflate this with growth caused player action (new transit, new roads etc.). :)

There is no clear difference to me from growth cause by player action (new transit, new roads) and other growth. Cities develop because of your actions, including building new roads.

In the ruleset you choose from 1 to 100%. 100% being the fastest growth.
