City grow over player tracks : need more info

Ever build a line and some years later you have a message that a line is brocken somhow ? You go have a look and you see that a building is where some of your tracks were but you didn't know until then !

Well, some might say that if you look at the mini-map you could see it. Well, I don't think that's the best way as the mini map is kinda mini for some cities (mostly Berlin).

So it would be great to have an information tab (like quest one) that says something like : "The mayor is planning a city expansion that could affect a least one of your line, you should rework the area."
This information should be given when the information pop on the mini-map as well (6 month before the construction I think)

I did get such a message once, I remember. That I have to change the layout of my tram tracks before a certain date because there is a construction there ongoing. Maybe you didn't notice it? It was displayed on the message bar, in red.

That's really not enough... I really never look at that message bar unless I'm bored because most of them are "useless" and if you miss the message, you're done. A "quest" like information can't be missed : it's bigger, it makes noice when it appears and most important, it doesn't vanish after few seconds.

There are 2 kinds of important messages that appear on the message bar: Zoning conflict (When new buildings are about to destroy your track\station and when a vehicle is stuck.
They appear in dark red and if you click it you will be moved to the location. Sadly, those messages are too small and many times I miss them.

It happened ones, and it needs a different sound or a better warning. On larger screens the bar is practically invisible. Only some years later when the tram line has not been profitable will the player notice the line is broken.

You are right, these messages are almost invisible. But, I think they appear more then once, and when your tracks are about to be destroyed, they are also highlighted in red.
Surely, this is not enough. These things should be in a pop-up message like the missions.

I agree.
In the meantime just look for brown/tan patch on mini map.

Definitely important...I have constant problems with this...Important messages like this should come in pop-ups, while the "Not enough money" message DOES NOT need a modal window...it's quite annoying that i have to close it before continuing.

Definitely need them to stay somewhere where you can see you have them and not forget. I've had the message several times, though, with none of my tracks anywhere near the new construction.

+1 definitely! This is quite annoying & should really have a pop-up.
