I started to create my own town and faces with some unconvenient things. So I want to ask if they are just my trouble or it is normal for this game version.

* I have no building description. Just their names and view. So I do not know what mixed type there are and their capacity.
* Buildings have very few angles to rotate so I couldn't`t normally line them to the road.

* Industry buildings takes very small area but commercial (such as department stores) are really HUGE! I am looking into my real town map and wondering how many factories I have to put in a row to fill couple blocks that are normally taken only by one or two factories.

May be some "nation packs" would help... It would be great to have not only american style buildings!

* Relief is also not very easy to handle. Water is always at 0 m height and little river streaming from the hill makes deep canyon. No ponds, no lakes on the hills. It always creates steep walls.

It seems that I need another SimCity :p

* I always have troubles with normal composing buildings the way they will look naturally. In that case I am looking for opportunity to just "coloring" area as "Industry" or "city center" or "country side" e.t.c. to have automated placed buildings in this areas. In game automation is rather strange for me.

Try using the + and - keys on your keyboard to align the buildings more precisely.

Not sure about it, but I think there are bigger industry buildings in the game as well. I need to check this though.

I totally agree on that one! European style buildings being added to the game is my biggest wish. I hope the devs or the players find a way to bring them in soon :)

Yes, unfortunately creating rivers flowing down a hill or high-lying lakes is not possible at this point.

The automation should place buildings of one type next to each other in certain areas of the map by itself. Haven't had a look on whether this works well or not though. The idea of coloring such areas is very good :) But we mustn't forget that cim2 is not essentially a city builder but a mass transit simulation game.
