@Shelltoe
Sorry; I didn't remember that post from a month ago. You can probably see how your post earlier today on its own was pretty vague when I didn't notice the context of your post a month ago.

I messaged one of the devs on Skype with a link to your post at the time. The message did not get acted upon, but I can't really speculate as to why. Though I should have sent a reminder after a while of it not being acted upon.

Hi, will you be getting the Wiki up to date anytime soon? In it's present state, it's difficult for me to refer anyone to it. Thanks in advance ;)

The wiki relies on members of the community updates it. My main purpose is to facilitate that.
Without users updating it, there's not much I can do I'm afraid.

This has to do with Landmarks as new content for the European maps. These require their own sub category of Unique buildings, which was previously only occupied by the 5 Deluxe buildings which you described as monuments and I have amended to 'landmarks'. I don't know how to create such a sub category in a Wiki and hope that you can.
Well let me help you with that then by providing the data ;)

European Landmarks

  • Amsterdam Palace - 600 city service buildings
http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=452991635
  • Cathedral - 2k abandoned buildings
http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=454207936
  • City Hall - 3k weekly public transport passengers
http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=451925447
  • Cinema - 4k tourist visitors
http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=476897409
  • Department Store - 8k natural resources extracted
http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=451925210
  • Gherkin - 2 instances of Harbour built
http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=451925029
  • Government Offices - 40 garbage piling per building
http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=452788926
  • Hypermarket - 30k squares of commercial zone built
http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=456871465
  • Shopping Centre - 30k squares of residential built
http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=452989864
  • Sports Arena - 30k weekly education expenses
http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=456870774
  • Theatre - 10 full cemeteries
http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=454207760

Please note that BloodyPenguin's European Building Unlocker mod will unlock all of these and make these little challenge requirements redundant (thanks for that by the way, I hate you ;) )

There is also now a configurable autosave feature in the Options menu in game, which not many players have noticed yet.

This entry in the Wiki is inaccurate and misleading.
Deathwave
City statistics view. A 2021 type-I deathwave is the large spike in the death rate (red). Later, a cyclical patten in birth (yellow) and death rates emerges (type-II deathwave).
In the Cities:Skylines community, the term "deathwave" is used to describe two somewhat-related phenomena, both of which feature a large number of deaths occurring within a city near-simultaneously, putting considerable strain on the deathcare services.
The first type (type-I) is a sharp spike in deaths. Such a feature can occur if there is a water poisoning incident; however, such spikes can also occur due to citizens dying naturally of old age. Citizens in the game have short and rather uniform lifespans of about 6 years. As cities tend to expand rapidly very early in the game, this results in a large proportion of citizens of almost exactly the same age, resulting in a deathwave six years after the city's foundation.

Incorrect. The term 'deathwave' refers only to the cyclical phenomena of death rate. There are no type I and II, there is only one. It has nothing to do with 'sharp spikes' due to player error induced water poisoning.

The second type of deathwave (type-II) is a long-term cyclical pattern with a period of a few years which can emerge within cities' birth, death and immigration rates. As in the graph on this page, a type-II wave may follow a type-I spike.
It might follow and it might not, and in any case both are completely unrelated.
Cities will often develop such a cyclical patten in their age profiles, and in some cities these appear to emerge spontaneously and amplify with time.
Spontaneously? No, it occurs as a direct result of how much residential was zoned at one time, or at least how fast a lot of residential was populated within a short time. This isn't spontaneous since the consequences will only be experienced 4-6 game years later when the adults and seniors of that zoning die off at the same rate that they populated. It may appear spontaneous, but it is not, it was seeded long before it happened.
This behaviour can cause a strain on the city, most notably during periods of high death rates where deathcare services are stretched. Causes of and solutions to such deathwaves are a matter of debate in the Cities:Skylines community.
Debatable? No. It has been long known about, discussed and investigated and there is no dispute that I am aware of.

I have attempted to contact the contributor of that post and notified him of your objections. If he does not respond, I will correct the entry as it seems you do not wish to do so.

I just checked the history of the page, the edit is a year old. @Steve B. if you have the knowledge to fix it then go ahead.

Yes I know and when I attempted to contact the contributor I told him it was out of date. I attempted to contact him just to be polite, but he has yet to respond. I'll get around to correcting it eventually.

no, all of those European buildings are in the game officially. the sauna came with Snowfall, the prison came with After Dark. the rest you need to play a map using the European theme (or just use a mod that unlocks all buildings no matter what map theme you use)
