Cities: Skylines- Cities of tomorrow DLC

With this DLC will your cities become ultra futuristic! New vehicles will look amazing in your city of future. You will choose your way: Become the greenest megalopolis in the galaxy or become the richiest (but polluted) city in the world! With this DLC you'll create the massive cities with massive population with massive tall and big megatowers! The mass transit in these cities will be very important. You can build hyperloops around your city. Maglevs can be in this DLC too. If you'll want to become very ritch you should build big companies (these companies will pollute the ground). The roads will have the new design with electric stripes. There will be junkyards controlled by drones. Fire stations could use the drones to extinguish the fire! Police stations could use to solve crime problems. Hospitals and clinics could use drones to save the lives! The skyscrapers in this city will be tall and amazing. The futuristic design of everything will bring you the 22nd century vibes now.

I like this idea and an option for a "Cities of Yesterday".

Cities of Yesterday starts you in a time before trains, paved roads (only dirt roads are available even at the region level), electricity, running water and waste water.

All these things come in good time (and city population). While they don't exist, fresh water and waste water will be handled on a per lot basis.

Everyone will either walk, ride a horse or ride a buggy pulled by a horse.

Once electricity, fresh water, waste water and paved roads become a thing, your residents will scream for them. In the meantime, build clinics to combat disease. Build graveyards too. You'll need them.

When the game starts in Cities of Yesterday, the only things you can build are dirt roads and farm houses. Once those get rolling, you can build pre-industrial age residential, commercial and industry. Your farm houses will want allot of space. ALLOT of space. Later on, farmhouse areas can be turned into districts. But you may want to save that very first farmhouse for sentimental and educational reasons.

While you could go way back to the caveman days, City Skylines is about building cities, not civilizations. I think that would get into a different type of game.

I would really like to start a city without any regional road but I get the impression it's hard coded into the foundation of the game so I could live with dirt roads that upgrade over time outside of city limits.

I would also like to see more randomness with what you get at certain population levels if that is possible.

At some point, it would be fantastic to see something like SimCopter, Streets of Sim City and SCURK as an expansion pack. I would also like to see them drop the word "City" from the title and just call it Skylines.

Sim City is dead and is never coming back. Maxis was an amazing company but EA destroyed it. City Skylines is the most respected city sim on the market and it has reached a point were it needs to be compared to Sim City anymore.

This is what Sim City could have been if they would have stopped listening to their executives and started listening to their game purchasers. Having Sims work and live at the nerest available house and job on any given day is ridiculous. Also, not having offline availability from day 1 was just moronic.

City Skylines is a fantastic game.
