Has this always happened since you've had the game? Or it was okay up to some point?

What antivirus app do you use?

Please gather both these two informational files, and attach them here:

...\Steam\steamapps\common\Cities_Skylines\Cities_Data\output_log.txt

DXDIAG is a program you run from a command prompt or the Windows start menu 'run' dialog box (or 'search programs' in Windows 7 or later). After running it will open a window and start collecting info with a progress bar in the lower-left corner. When it completes click the 'save all information' button and save it to a file then attach that file here.

Hi AndrewT,

Thank you for the reply.

This is the first time I noticed it. No idea if I had this problem before.

I have attached the requested files.

Regards

Closing the game, deleting the files gameSettings.cgs and userGameState.cgs and starting the game does not help.
Did those get recreated, as a matter of interest? What antivirus app do you use?

The only odd thing I see in that log is:
NotImplementedException: GetColors(): format not supported
at (wrapper managed-to-native) ColossalFramework.PlatformServices.PlatformService:RunCallbacks ()
at ColossalFramework.PlatformServices.PlatformServiceBehaviour.Update () [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0
Which I don't know what to make of, to be honest.

Please try a **clean** reinstall:

- Remove the game from Steam (uninstall)
- unsubscribe from ALL mods and assets in the Steam Workshop for this game
- Manually delete all these files and folders, if still there:

...\Steam\steamapps\common\Cities_Skylines\
...\Steam\SteamApps\workshop\content\255710\
...\AppData\Local\Colossal Order\Cities_Skylines
(first move the /saves/ folder elsewhere to keep your save games)
(To see the AppData folder you'll need to enable View Hidden Items in File Explorer)

- Install the game again and see if it still happens for you.
