Skyline not starting or closing nor launcher showing

What is your game version?
Unsure as through steam..release date says mar 10 2015? 1.14.1-f2 ?

What expansions do you have installed?
All DLCs

What mods are you using?
none

Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
Hello, I have a problem with the launcher, any help would be great !

I have done the delete launcher in the files thing to many times to count, first launch after it is fine! ( plays game like normal ) Launcher does a update and I can never get game to started again until I do an Uninstall the launcher and remove its settings files, the steam app get stuck on playing, but there no launcher or game start and it does not stop until I go into task manager and I end task, However before update to launcher there only ONE paradox launcher in task manager after update their are 3 ! so, I think that the launcher update that is the issue... any help ?

steam shows game runing but there is nothing on screen and can be like that for hours... go in to task manager and it shows 3 launchers and the only way I can close the game as showing runing is to end task in task manager ? cant access/close game at all

I can Play the game fine on/at frist install have all DLCS... Having no probs playing game and loading maps and with/without mods ! I can close game down fine after playing hours or two ok, launcher then updates and on restart of the game I can not open nor close game. done a uninstall and resinstall 3x works fine and i can play the game close down no probs, the restart launcher has been updated and back to square 1 so to speak ?

I have tried to start is with -noWorkshop -disableMods dont work too, checked output_log.txt but could not see anything .. ( at least I don't think so ? ), I have just uninstalled and reinstalled still same so i am now starting from a fresh install again ... waiting on help.
only way i can get anything is clicking on dowser through file steamapps as shown in pic

Yes as as soon as update is done, I cant play game ?

You can bypass the launcher by following these instructions:

- Download the attached cities.bat.zip file
- extract cities.bat from it
- Place the .bat file in your game's Steam folder (In the same place as your cities.exe)
- Right click the game in your Steam library
- Go to properties
- Select Set Launch Options
- Copy and Paste cities.bat %command% into the input box
- Select Ok
- Run the game

Done this the morning following your instructions and Skylines sorted all working again ... I wonder when they will sort this update that causing the problem out ?
