1.13.3-f9

What expansions do you have installed?
After Dark, Mass Transit, Parklife

What mods are you using?
None

Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
I recently wanted to play CS again after a several month hiatus, and have been experiencing random errors and crashes each time. I disabled all mods, updated my graphics driver, and uninstalled and reinstalled the game twice, but it still crashes within a few minutes each time I try to play it.

Can you replicate the issue? If yes, please explain how you did it.
I've had different types of crashes, but this one works consistently.

1. Start a new city on the Honu Island map
2. Zoom closer to the trees.
3. Game crashes.

All of which makes me think its a graphics thing, but I have a solid graphics card and never had these sorts of issues previously.

The crash is in your nVidia driver:

nvwgf2umx.dll caused an Access Violation (0xc0000005)
in module nvwgf2umx.dll at 0033:83eb292d.

which is unusual as you are on a recent version. Please try this:

- uninstall that driver and all other nVidia software
- reboot
- instal, the latest August 2021 by fresh download from here:

Download the latest official NVIDIA drivers

- reboot again

That helped a lot! Unfortunately, I'm still getting crashes--the game will run for a while (up to an hour), and then quit to desktop. Sometimes it shows a crash report, other times it just quits.

I've attached the output from the latest crash today when it did not show a crash report. From my limited understanding, it looks like it crashed after autosaving--and thoughts on what could have caused it?

There's no crash in that log. Was it taken just after one of these crashes?

For crashes while saving though, Add cities.exe to the exceptions list of your antivirus app; ESPECIALLY if you have Windows Defender, add it to the Ransomware "Apps Allowed Through" list.

Things ran smoothly yesterday once I added the exception, but I got another crash tonight. File are attached; I'm doing another clean reinstallation of my graphics driver to see if that helps anything.

There is a crash output there now. I see Avast in the stack, so please check you have the game exempted in all its exceptions lists - the crash is just after a save operation.

You're also a bit low on swap space, so please expand your Windows paging file maximum size to 32gb.
