Like Sunday's player, my game was working yesterday and now it won't; cities.bat doesn't even help

What is your game version?
1.14

What expansions do you have installed?
Natural Disasters

What mods are you using?
Had Move It and Extra Landscaping Tools (deleted them when the problem started)

Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
I was playing the game fine yesterday, this morning clicked play in steam says its running but the launcher won't launch. Tried uninstalling reinstalling, tried the bypass launcher method but all it does is open the extracted file and says "failed to start process for cities: skylines" "The operation completed successfully."

Can you replicate the issue? If yes, please explain how you did it.
I erased the Launch options method several times and it keeps doing the same error message.

Running the game as administrator seems to make it work though

Shouldn’t be necessary but it works. So far the only way to play. This method fixes the problem oddly but I guess I’ll keep launching it this way. So I guess no problem anymore
