Industry DLC Oil doesn’t work with Oil Power Plant

Can you replicate the issue? If yes, please explain how you did it.
The industries dlc basically replaces the vanilla industry zoning. This is an issue as the dlc does not interact with the vanilla world very well at all meaning you can have an useful industries. The biggest glaring issue is the oil produced from the Industries DLC items cannot be used by the oil power plants. This is a massive oversight as you can no longer have vanilla oil industry buildings spawn and there is no need for them according to the game. Crude oil extracted using the industries dlc needs to be able to be used by the oil power plants otherwise it is almost unplayable to an extent. This has been a continued and know issue with no fix

This is not a bug, the oil power plant (and the coal power plant) do not use the raw materials, they need a processed product that can be imported or supplied by industry specializations.

u can’t have industry specialisation because using the Industry DLC stuff takes the need for the vanilla industry stuff. Therefore with no need no vanilla industry buildings will spawn

Nothing prevents you from using the base game specializations and DLC industry simultaneously. They don't just cancel each other out like that, industrial demand is almost solely dependent on how high your unemployment is.

Alternatively you can set a warehouse to store zoned oil products that is needed, but this doesn't really work well right now because of a bug that causes excessive import traffic.
