Game stuck after 50% of loading save

What is your game version?
1.13.3-f9

What expansions do you have installed?
none

What mods are you using?
none

Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
Steam version here.

Simply, open game, choose map cloud or local savegame it's same, and stuck atg 50%.

Try many times.

No mod installed, only deluxe base game.

Check file from steam it's ok...

Can you replicate the issue? If yes, please explain how you did it.

Is it just this one save file you can't load? Can you start and play a new test city okay?

A new city, empty without do anything work in local but not in cloud.

I don't want to lost my previous big city!

And I don't trust to play anymore if every save is bugged........

That is a very strange situation, I can't account for that. Perhaps a Steam issue?

Please try a **clean** reinstall:

- Remove the game from Steam (uninstall)
- exit the Steam app entirely
- Manually delete all these files and folders, if still there:

...\Steam\steamapps\common\Cities_Skylines\
...\Steam\SteamApps\workshop\content\255710\
...\AppData\Local\Colossal Order\Cities_Skylines
(first move the /saves/ folder elsewhere to keep your save games)
(To see the AppData folder you'll need to enable View Hidden Items in File Explorer)

- delete everything in the Steam folder EXCEPT steam.exe and the SteamApps folder
- run steam.exe to rebuild all that

- Install the game again and see if you get the same issue now, testing with a new city NOT any existing one.

Have you try to load my save that I have attached?????

I don't want another city, I have spent hours to build this city.

I'm scared now this bug happen another time if I restart another city.

Have you niticed that lot of player have this issue??

Yes, starting to see a few just in the last few days:

Stuck at loading - Boreal map

I was playing normally with no issues until I noticed I could not bulldoze a trash/junk empty building. Restarted the game and the issue started. the game is being saved on the cloud, can't find it locally, would it be available if saved on cloud?

It only seems to affect Steam cloud saves somehow. As there’s been no change in the game recently I guess this has to be a Steam or Windows problem, but hard to see what!

I have downloaded files from steam cloud too and try to load from local but stuck same..

No. Sorry no second pc to test. But you can try my savegame that is like to gave have a second pc.

I hadn't but it does hang for me too, as expected.

I frankly have no idea why this is happening to a few people. The game itself has not changed recently so it pretty much has to be a Steam, antivirus or Windows issue, it seems to me!

What if you make a second Window suser on this machine. Start a new test city on that saved to cloud, does it have the same problem?

I think to quit game next to savegame bug isn't fixed, I don't want to lost my hours spent to build my city.
