game crashing - 'Fatal Error in GC GetThreadContext failed'

What is your game version?
1.13.3-f9

What expansions do you have installed?
After Dark, Snowfall, Natural Disasters, Mass Transit, Green Cities, Parklife, Industries, Campus, Sunset Harbor

What mods are you using?
Too many!

Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
I ahve the Loading Screen mod and my RAM is geting right to the limit. I have 16GB of RAM and the two numbers in the loading mod are RED! The game has NEVER crashed before and I have used the mods I have for a considerable time.

Can you replicate the issue? If yes, please explain how you did it.
I have played for the last 3 days and the game never crashed,. Played today and it crashed within 5 minutes!

And you should update that nVidia driver to July 2021:

Thought this had solved the problem!! Put the cities.exe file in the Avast exceptions and updated the driver on Wednesday. I had the free version of Avast and then a week ago I bought the full version so I thought this ahd caused the problem. But no!! PLayed the last coupole fo days and this afternoon and no problem! Started it again around 8pm (GMT) and it crashed straightaway! I started it again and it loaded okay! The thing I noticed was that the first of the two numbers on the Load it mod screen was less than usual. Its usually around 11.5 but this time it was arouind 4?? How can i send this file to the developers as it says on the error message? Or do I just need more RAM??

Right! Here is the files when the game crashed at 8pm last night. As I said I started it again and the game loaded right up! The save game is of the game that worked after it had crashed, and the other files are of when it crashed at 8pm.

Try manually setting your pagefile to 32GB (32000 MB)

Maybe it is swapping a large chunk of memory at once, or maybe auto paging is crashing.

Microsoft has posted issues with the page file system and it can crash the system by itself.

You can skip the calculator part and just put in 32000 MB instead.

Well, if it isn't crashing, then maybe it is just a mod issue.

Start unsubscribing workshop until the error goes away, then you you can decide if it is the problem or if you have a similar mod that does the same thing, and remove one or the other. or just live with the error if you don't want to remove the mod.
