Game crashed after hitting resume/play on Launcher page

What is your game version?
1.16.0-f3

What expansions do you have installed?
After Dark, Snowfall, Natural Disasters, Mass Transit, Green Cities, Parklife, Industries, Campus, Sunset Harbor, Airports

What mods are you using?
Compatibility Report, Loading Screen Mod Revisited 1.1, Move-It, Harmony 2.2.2-0, but launched using --noWorkshop

Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
The game loaded and ran fine with the above mods enabled. Today, initially tried launching the game with the above mods enabled and adding the following mods: Precision Engineering, FindIt 2, Node Controller Renewal 3.3.2, Unified UI 2.2 (Stable), Intersection Marking Tool 1.10.2. And the game crashed after hitting Play on the Launcher page. Unsubscribed from the added mods but kept the four mods listed above enabled and the game crashed again at the Launcher page. Added --noWorkshop in the Launcher, but the game still crashed at Launcher. I cannot get to the Content Manager to disable any mods.

Can you replicate the issue? If yes, please explain how you did it.

I also have Plazas and Promenades, Mid-Century, Seaside Resorts, and Skyscrapers DLCs.

The game cannot find your nVidia driver/card, and dxdiag reports a problem in that area:

Fault bucket LKD_0x141_Tdr:6_IMAGE_nvlddmkm.sys_Pascal, type 0
Event Name: LiveKernelEvent

Let's do a clean update of that driver:

- uninstall it and all other nVidia software
- reboot
- install December 2022 https://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-us
- reboot again

Thank you, Andrew. If I understand correctly, uninstall all references to Nvidia, including Nvidia control panel and GForce Experience? And this is done through Settiings/Apps. Thank you.

Worked like a charm! I'm able to run the game smoothly with and without mods. Thank you so much for your help, AndrewT.
