Describe your issue
Can't zoom in using mouse wheel, can zoom with Z and X, mouse wheel works when scrolling through menus etc, the issue is related specifically to zooming in and out with the mouse wheel, mouse wheel otherwise operates normally.

What is your game version?
latest

What expansions do you have installed?

What mods are you using?
various mods, have run the game with no workshop or mods etc yet the problem still persists

Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
"Can't zoom in using mouse wheel, can zoom with Z and X, mouse wheel works when scrolling through menus etc, the issue is related specifically to zooming in and out with the mouse wheel, mouse wheel otherwise operates normally."

The game works fine other than this issue, it happens when all mods etc are disabled in new games too.

Can you replicate the issue? If yes, please explain how you did it.
it happens every time and has been a problem for a good 6 weeks or more

apologies for the useless screenshot, it was necessary to make my report, if i can help anymore i am more than happy, it feels very uncomfy zooming in other ways and less intuitive which is why i reported this albeit small issue

If you haven't already, please test it with the launch options -noWorkshop and -disableMods in place on a new save. It's important they are spelled exactly like that, otherwise they don't do anything. I have had this happen occasionally myself when playing with mods, but never in the vanilla game, so it's important that we fully exclude mods. :)

How To Set Launch Options
  • Right-click on the game title under the Library in Steam and select Properties.
  • Enter the launch options you wish to apply in the box (be sure to separate each code with a space). Should look like this:
    Code:
    -noWorkshop -disableMods
  • Close the game's Properties window and launch the game.

I had already done this but I have again and the results are the same
