Too few services for industry? Meaning?

Any quick tips on how to deal with traffic in my industrial area? Roundabouts? More exits to the adjectant Highways?

Do I need more than 1 train station?

All my industry is at level one in a 60k town. Do I need commercial/offices adjectant?

Ty in advance.

Do you have good police fire coverage? If so, what about leisure like plazas? Industry/commercial needs it too. Not sure about 2 cargo train stations but I have 2 near my industrial park and they are all leveled up.

Is there a way to do a massive bulldoze? Or must we click one thing at time?
1) Press mouse1 when you bulldoze. Don't release, just move it around and it will clear everything of the same type but leave the rest intact (like if your first was I it won't clear the C buildings you run over). It doesn't specify between burned/abandoned though. But it's good for destroying a lot of road/power lines/small zoned area.

2) Automatic Bulldoze mod (clears every abandoned and burned down in sight automatically). Will disable achievements.

Personally I don't condone bulldozing abandoned buildings, because they will get filled again.

Well, you seem to have disabled the one key that would rotate the objects. As in right mouse, by holding it down.
Not all objects can be rotated (highway sections can, I just tried), some snap on to pre-existing road. For those lay some road either vertical or horizontal first and then you'll get that crossing to go down the right way.

Change screen rotation to something else and I think you'll be set to do some object rotating :)

thank you, i can also rotate with right mouseclick AND can rotate the screen with it.
the problem is, that a highway crossing can be rotated about 8 times within a full 360 degree round. mostly, i need something between the 8 rotations - is there any trick for solving that?

hello is there any way for me to build the waste and water lines at different heights? because at the moment i basically have to have them at 2 diffrent sides of the and send the pipes across because the game says i cant cross the lines so i was wondering if it's possible to put 1 pipe lower in the ground so they can cross. thanks in advance.

Edit- just looked at quill18's video and noticed that his seem to do it fine as one 1 so have i just messed up? also how do i build a road over a trainline?

You can just join the water lines together at that point and continue on the other side. It doesn't matter if they connect.

As to the road - have the road selected and use your PageUp to raise it and PageDown to lower it on the other side of the tracks. Alternatively, just raise the tracks over the road by the same method.

Dumb question, but what is the button for curving roads? I'm sure there's one that I missed. Even when I'm using the curved road option the roads are straight by default. A lot of my roads and subway tunnels are ugly because of this.

Using the Curved Road option it at first extends forward straight (doesn't get filled in with color) and you click once - now it fills with color and you can bend it left or right. It matters how far you drag it out straight to what angle the curve is after you've clicked.

Lay some road in correct orientation which is easier to do and it will snap on it.

Almost all of the assets I downloaded of the workshop have no preview image, which makes it really hard to see what is what in the build menu. Do the modders have to set an image manually or why isn't this working?

Is it possible to change city name half way into gameplay............?

I think so. You should press the "i" that is on the left of the city name, in the bottom bar. Then click on the name of the city and make sure that you press ENTER afterwards, since clicking somewhere else will not confirm the city name change

I have also one question: do trees actually increase the land value?

Is it possible to change city name half way into gameplay............?
Yes, but the way I found requires editing of the save game.
Saves in Win 7, 8(.1) are at C:\Users\YourUsername\AppData\Local\Colossal Order\Cities_Skylines\Saves
Find the correct save, for example Shanghai.crp. Open it with notepad, or better yet notepad++. The last row of the save should contain your city name in plaintext. Example: "cityNameShanghai \System.DateTime, mscorlib, Version=2.0.0.0, Culture=neutral". Just turn that Shanghai into something else, save and in the game you have a newly named old city.

edit: Hehe, seems I found the harder aka "modder way" :D Just do like Mantees suggested above.
