Since this forum doesn't have this thread and it's so popular on other forums (CK2, EU4...)

This is the place for us noobs to get answers to our stupid questions :)

- How do I deselect things? When I'm in "building stuff" mode, how to I return to normal mode? Do I always have to click that (X) or is there a faster, simpler way (a shortcut?)

- How do I get coal for my coal power plants?

I don't know about coal, but when building anything that chains (road, pipes, etc) you can right-click to stop the chaining and start over (double right-click to redraw the guide line for freeform road). If it's anything else or you want a clear cursor, escape does the job (but is a bit finnicky when placing power plants I've noticed).

That's the thing - when I press Escape, it takes me to menu, so I have to press it again.

Is the Steam workshop online because i cant find it atm.
It's down at the moment.

Coal power plants will automatically order coal from outside locations. Just make sure there's a highway connection so the trucks can reach the power plant. If you have ore resource available, zone industrial on top of it, then make a district and assign the Ore Specialization policy to it so the industry is allowed to extract the ore. They will then automatically send it to your coal power plant when it needs some.

To close the build menu you are in, click on the menu icon again on the bottom bar. I personally use that to open and close menus, it's fast and easy.

I ordered C:SL today on the Paradox Webshop, because this is the place you get the most money per sale from (what I heard about). I got a order confirmation, but not the key.
I know that the shop server is probably overloaded atm, but how bad is it. I thought instead of getting the key instantly I have to wait an hour or so.
Did anyone else ordered there, and can say how long it took for you, 'till the key arrived?

I pre-ordered the game but I can only see the botanical garden in-game. And I can't see the Paradox Plaza uh plaza/park either. Am I simply missing them somehow? Or is it a problem?
