But it's nice to dream isn't it? Or at least make it so I can get xbox achievements lol
I have been a gamer for 30 years played most the games that have been made from PS1, Nintendo, Xbox, PC. I've never encountered so many problems with a game, Paradox should be ashamed they are selling this game to people. So this game has and is still being sold as an unplayable game, any reasons why this game has not been patched? It's almost been out for a month now, and it's still basically in beta version. People are still playing good money for a game that's unplayable. Just shows the amount of respect the developers have for there demographic.
I just want to know if it's gonna be fixed soon, or much later, where working on it.... I payed good money for this game, I want to know if I will be able to play this game anytime soon. Expected fix date? Something? Anything is better than where working on it, I worked on making money to buy this broken game.So do we have an expected date for a patch yet? Or should I put this game away until Christmas?

Do you enjoy going to dinner? When I pay for a dinner a kinda want that dinner. When I pay for a game that is hardly ready to be published and all you have to say is you have other prioritys. Yea well you got everyone's dinner money, I'm still hungry.Don't Quadruple post.
Don't be self entitled. It will be patched eventually, it's just that Paradox has other priorities at the moment, such as DLCs and patches for games they have developed themselves, not just merely published. Paradox isn't EA

You have no right to publish a game that does not work period. You published there game there for your name is on it. How dare you publish a game, sell a game to the public that does not work and act like its no big deal. I'm pissed because I would have rather waited tell Christmas to buy the version that will work. Now I'm stuck with a broken ass game I can not play and I really want to play it. I would never treat my customers with disrespect. Give us a patch. Give us an expected patch date. I just want the game to work and I would think that would be your mentality as well.I get what you are saying but unlike some Companies (EA, Ubisoft) Paradox actually develops their games they develop themselves, with continuous patches, and loads of GOOD DLC. CK2 for example was released in 2012, and only now are they winding down on production.
Considering Skylines isn't a paradox developed title, but a PUBLISHED title (another company developed with Paradox funding it) the patching might take a while but it WILL happen
Thanks you for finally answering the one question I've been asking. Maybe a week maybe not but now I know I don't have to wait until Christmas. And as for the game not being broken you are very wrong and that is why it is being patched.I'm not going to give you an expected date as I don't have one. I could say "one week from now" but that would be tremendously stupid as I usually don't know until a day or two before it's set to go live. The patching process (as well as certification and QA process) is more complex than I think you realize which is why it's taking time.
Is it ideal? No, absolutely not, but that's what we have to work with and that's what I have to tell you. There is no more information to share on this matter and I'd kindly ask you to not bump your own replies nor create threads about the same thing multiple times. We already know about this issue and are working on it, multiple posts won't make it go any faster.

We will see if this game gets fixed or not, minor bug issue, hah.Tell EA that.
Tell Ubisoft that.
Tell Activision that.
Unfortunately in the real world companies don't have unlimited funds and time to develop a game before release. They get the game out as soon as they are sure it is passable, and then the GOOD companies will continue to develop said game, continuously polishing it, improving it and so on.
i have patience for bug fixes patches, I know I have played more games than you I own every platform. I do not have patience for people beating around the bush and giving vague answered like, "we are working on it". That is not an answere you tell a customer. I'm very happy with the game and it sounds like it will be patched soon, and that will make everyone who has purchased this "barely playable" game very happy. The crashing is gething bad, expecially large cities. However I think tantalus could have done a better job on the port but that's just me. Dodge3225 has obviously never played a paradox title or he would have more patients. Anytime mircosoft is involved it lengthens the process by at least a week, if we are lucky that is.

So that's twice im hearing people say I haven't played a paradox game, I guess they make buggy ass games. The fact is I and most are having problems with a game, save data corruption major freeze issues. I simply want the game to work, I wanted a straight answere as to when the " minor issues" where gonna get fixed. I got upset, and the problem was solved. This issue is also solved but if people want to keep posting I'll reply.Yes it's quite clear he/she has never played a Paradox Developed or Published title with the way they are behaving.
And that's right, Tantalus did the port and have obviously screwed something up in the porting process. But in Dodges' mind it is quite clearly Paradox at fault. The guys who PUBLISHED it not Developed or Ported it, thereby having very little to do with whatever has happened. Nope it's Paradox fault.
It's not like Paradox force developers to release stupidly early ( EA), when the game is clearly unfinished...

Like Said before I had one question, when is it getting patched. No one will give me the time of day I got shitty. I don't care who wrote the code for the game. They can answere a simple question when asked about a very broken game.Yes Paradox DEVELOPED games are usually buggy, normally minor ones, but they do get fixed. If you have played so many games you should know the difference between Publisher and Developer.
Tantalus Ported the game.
Paradox also has other priorities at the moment such as PDXCON, sorting out the Adams update on Stellaris (a Paradox developed game), DLC for Hearts of Iron 4 and Europa Universalis 4 (Paradox Developed game). Secondly it's not really Paradox thing to fix it's the Developer or the Porter thing to fix.
You have already been told off by administrators, dail back the attitude and people will be more accommodating. And before you say I am being a PC Elitist, my primary gaming is on PS4 with Strategy games on PC...
