What if they added internal city clubs? The bigger your city gets, the more clubs you get to allow. Clubs would be placed inside city areas as "representatives" to those communities. You'd get increased traffic on derby days and would have to handle problems with hooligans and riots.
A nice extension to the matchday system. The stadiums look good. A nice option for those who wish to include it in their builds. Sad to see such a negative response to this new dlc. If you don't like it- don't buy it.

Isn't it amazing! No matter what they do to add new features to the game, somebody always complains.
I'm no football(soccer) fan and am not really interested in this DLC, but why do people have to be soooo negative about everything they try to add to the game. I truly don't understand it.

I don't think anyone has been overly negative on here really.
Anyway, I would assume that CO would probably like to hear a range of feedback rather than rampant fanboy-ism.
I think the negativity is due to the fact the DLC is always novelty and cosmetics, I think people would be more happy to buy this sort of thing if they felt it wasnt always just this kind of thing.
I think it looks good but it would be better if you are making one of these cities, like london or madrid,
I think what would have been better would be to make your own club, it starts of as basically a football field and some goalposts, your city grows and gets richer and attracts richer investors and footballers which attracts hotels and stuff, and watch your team grow from a 500 capacity all standing non league club build a few bigger stands, climb up the divisions to a 80,000 all seater european champions league team.... a growable stadium, instead of just plonking the bernabeu in my little village next to the dump.
That I would buy, this I wouldnt, not unless it becomes less novelty and cosmetics and more city building sim.
Funny name to bitch on a Cities: Skylines forum. But totally true, you can do better Paradox. A modular stadium just like from the Football-Manager games back in the days would have done the trick..
We are happy you like it . As for why team X isn't represented it all comes down to licensing and even if we would love to add more not every team is interested in such a partnership. This is something new for us as well as for the teams and we are excited for the future, who knows what this will lead to down the line ?
too paint a city, I dont know why they get offended cos it is what it is is, zero game all paint, the DLC sums it up, all cosmetic, I dont think its the game they started to make but its the game they ended up making, simcity 13 had more depth, they went all out mobile phone with this one, still waiting for a SC5

I had no interest in the DLC, but bought it only to be able to help somebody in the Steam forums lol. It's not bad.
As someone who was born and raised in Wembley, I would love to have seen the UK's national stadium in addition to local team venues. I even worked at the box office there before going to college and so I have very fond memories of the whole complex.
I've also sent an email to Liverpool FC and Arsenal FC to ask them if they were going to let Chelsea win the day in C:S
I'm not a sports fan, but I think these are pretty neat. I would imagine for real teams, they would have to pay a license fee, so I can't blame them for charging for this DLC.
I would prefer to see a variety of other sports like baseball, etc. And since I generally despise the greediness of the leagues, I would personally prefer a few imaginary teams instead of real teams.
That said a Skydome (I can't bring myself to call it Rogers Center) complete with CN Tower would be awesome.
