Cities: Skylines (Epic) - the game won't start

What is your game version?
1.15.0-F7

What expansions do you have installed?
(DID NOT ANSWER QUESTION)

What mods are you using?
nothing, i just downloaded the game

Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
when i try to launch the game nothing happens the result log just says :

"GameSettings: 'gameSettings' is not found or cannot be loaded. Make sure to call GameSettings.AddSettingsFile() to register a settings file before using SavedValue(). [Settings - Internal]

(Filename: C:/buildslave/unity/build/artifacts/generated/common/runtime/DebugBindings.gen.cpp Line: 51)"

Can you replicate the issue? If yes, please explain how you did it.

Please run a Steam Verify operation against the game, see if that finds anythign to fix.

And add cities.exe to the exceptions lists of your antivirus app.

If they don't help please attach the whole output log file here, thanks.

Did the Epic Verify find anything to fix? Because that really looks like a corrupted installation still.

Can you do a test install on any other computeryou might have access to?
