I don't see why you would need extra tiles if you have 25 tiles.(until the limit becomes 25 tiles for me) ;)

They could make the tiles bigger ‍♂️
yeah... 25 tiles is nothing... 81 seems like something that should be a standard. I wouldn't mind more though :D
Definitely not less but that's just daydreaming.

I really want to commend the developers on keeping this game updated. I know it must be hard to keep coming up with new unique ideas that can be actually made and integrated into the current game.

Although I don't think this dlc will be for me, I know some players that have been asking for modular airports for a while. I normally love modular options such as provided by the Park Life DlC. But Park Life expanded a lot on the possibilities on what a park could be. Zoo, Theme Park, Nature Reserve... Industrial DLC introduced a large variety of factories, needing specific resources. I just don't see how a modular Airport could expand the possibilities of what an ingame Airport could be, but I hope to be proven wrong on that.

I just hope that this isn't the last DLC and we might get more expansions that introduce new themes to the city instead of just re-hauling existing mechanics. I know for a fact that some people that wanted modular airports were also suggesting Park Life-like modular Holiday Resorts and even Raceways.

I reckon this will be the last major DLC for Cities Skylines.

Personally I still believe that Sunset Harbour was originally planned to be the last major DLC for Cities Skylines. But because Cities Skylines 2 is taking longer than originally planned for whatever reason they decided to create this Airports DLC to keep the player base happy and keep people engaged with the game. Again this is just my thoughts but the almost 2 year gap between Sunset Harbour and Airports and the announcements from Paradox saying that they are working on a big unannounced project with Colossal Order all point to a sequel in the works.

With regards to dev diaries most likely we won't see them until the week after next however next week at some point I do expect an announcement of a schedule of things like streams and dev diaries leading up to the release of Airports.

Im just crossing my fingers that the new double decker buses and bendy buses shown in the trailer and screenshot will be able to be used elsewhere in the city and not only at Airports. That would be a huge disappointment.

Hey there! We are ready to take-off with excitement over our Airports expansion announcement! As the release date is over a month away while many within the Cities: Skylines community are taking time away to celebrate holidays and the incoming new year, we will hold off on releasing additional information such as dev diaries or new feature videos until mid-January when everyone is back to experience and enjoy. So keep an eye out for these sorts of awesome releases on our social platforms in the new year and keep building exceptional cities!
Does this week count as mid-January? :)

Not quite. Wait until next week.

Either way, a CCP has also been announced.

Vehicles Of The World, an interesting idea but sadly one I'm personally not exactly excited by.

We also have a maps pack being released (seems to be more for the console crowd)

And the pinned comment on the video indicates a free surprise in the maps vid. I'm personally hoping it's that ace looking interchange.

SteamDB has also revealed Jelly and Brass as 2 radio stations.

On Air and Calm The Mind.

So a chill out station and whatever On Air is, I'd like to say talk radio, but I highly doubt it.

I'm glad to see a lot of content pf content coming out. As I'm console the vehicle pack is awesome because I started to want other train models, so having also other new vehicles is very sweet. New maps en radio stations? I'm sold. This looks to be like a buy everything at once on the 25th.

The 'Vehicles of the World' content creator pack is definitely aimed at the console and vanilla players.

I am a console player and I am very happy to finally see more bus types coming to the game. London style double decker bus, looks like a bendy bus in there aswell, a small bus that would work very well as a mini bus for rural areas. One other aswell.

Plus all the other vehicles that come with it. Very much looking forward to it.
