Not sure if anyone already mentioned that but Paradox LAuncher has got a detail in it's video - Airports DLC will be using a painted area.
Given that there are levels involved, this was to be expected. Buildings have to be associated with a particular airport rather than another in some way.

can somebody make a functional vehicle version of this asset Cargo Pallet Loader and post it on the steam workshop for city skylines
What's wrong with you?
Most of your posts are needy impolite requests to make one or the other asset for you on the workshop.
How would anyone make this asset, given that this DLC is not even out yet?

Meh...
I've been such a fan of CS for years and I've had little to say about most of your DLC's, but honestly, this disappoints me greatly. I would have much rather seen improvements on things like maybe adding medium size districts for residential and commercial. Large capacity schools for big cities and fixing things like your zoning so that you don't get towering sky-scrapers in low density tourism and a few of the other things that both modders and fans really felt the need to see.

Frankly, the airports we already have seem like plenty and you could have just spruced those up with zoning so they integrate better with industry, commercial etc. I know you can't please everyone, but it just seems like there's a lack of interest in what fans want and I've seen plenty of complaints about zoning and zones from all sides of CS. Love you guys, but seriously, why airports? This just might be the first DLC I will never buy, or I will wait until it's super cheap to get. And I've bought every one on the day of release, or soon thereafter, up until now. :(

Beaches seem to be the request of those who mainly play tropical maps.

I want beaches. Seems like a missed opportunity in Parklife.

I did like the airport concept, and was interested, but never thought it would happen. Thought it was too niche.

But what you are referencing to is minor improvements to the gameplay and I wouldn't wan't a DLC pack called Schools. We already have Campus. You need some gameplay to make a DLC and Airport is just fine for that. Until now we put an airport and that's it. We get to watch it and that's it. Now we get a big spot on the map that will need maintaining. It sounds perfect

I do hope they introduce also minor improvements like new zoning features or a big update to how transport works.

Holy.... That is HUGE! It is at least TWICE the size of a Campus area which is already big. And while you are not an expert yet you are not going to be able to build it this perfectly so it is going to be even bigger. Hot daaaamn. It is 1 tile by itself.
For me my city has an ample amount of space for an airport of this size; 1.25 to 1.5 tiles is recommended.

I hope there is support for more tiles in this dlc.

After pushing out so many dlcs, im pretty sure quite a handfull of vanilla users may find the 9 tiles insufficient at this point in time, especially when this dlc is going to take up almost one entire tile (from the screenshots it seems like it)

As for players who uses the workshop, the current, more stable 25 tiles, may also start to feel the space constraints after this dlc is pushed out.

As for 81 tiles, personally im running out of space, but that aside, 81 isnt really stable as ive heard from other players they encounter flight path issues outside the 25 tiles (never experienced that personally tho).

Long story short, im just hoping there would be at least some form of support for tile expansion in this dlc :3
I have no intention on using 81 titles because it doesn't support my MacBook. It can only support 25 tiles.

The extra tile mentioned is about consoles where 9 tiles is the limit. I don't see why you would need extra tiles if you have 25 tiles.(until the limit becomes 25 tiles for me) ;)

They added one tile and it crashed or slowd down the game

They could make the tiles bigger ‍♂️
