It would only be fair if we first day pre-orderes and deluxe edition owners could play this week end to thank us... We've been very active in promoting the game too!
Its actually quite cool that its like a semi-public beta week. With one person playing and 1000+ observing, some are bound to notice buggy or annoying behaviour. Also easy to spot things that are unintuitive in the interface when the streamer (who are often citybuilder noobs) is having a hard time with it.
Personally I miss a effect radius display on several placedowns (sub stations & bus stops most notably). you only see it after placing by the smilies.
Your enthusiasm to play is commendable, but I think it's safe to assume the team from CO won't be spending next weekend throwing away all the pre-order money on hookers and blow.
It's probably safe to assume that they'll be spending the entire weekend and Monday and Tuesday, at work, polishing the game for release.
This is a make-or-break release for CO. Skylines is a much higher-profile title than Cities in Motion and the city-builder fans are a very unforgiving crowd.
The last thing they can afford, is releasing an unfinished game when expectations are so high.
