Sorry if this is in the wrong place. (just seen I can't post in tech forum because I haven't actually bought the game :) )

Just download CiM demo, and it is playing really really slowly. Gets a little better when I change the quality, but still really slow. Here is what I know:

  • Windows 7 x64
  • Graphics *approx* total memory 1759mb
  • -Direct draw acceleration ON
  • -Direct 3d acceleration ON
  • AGP texture acceleration ON
  • Graphics name: "Mobile Intel(R) 4 series express chipset family
  • 4gb ram

I can't see an exact graphics capacity; 1759 seems too much? Am I looking at the wrong thing?

And is Intel not supported?

Thanks alot for any help. I really like the look of CiM. Other games like Age of Empires 3 play perfectly.

Will Cities in Motion 2 support what I have if this doesn't?

Thanks again :)

Integrated Intel graphic cards are not supported. You need a dedicated graphic card (nVidia or AMD) to play the game.

Well, that's good that you tried before buying. :)
Honestly, i don't think that the integrated intel gfx will be sufficient for CiM2, if you'd like to play the game, you'll really need a reasonably good graphics card (and an i7 CPU is also not a disadvantage ;) ).
