Cities in motion not starting up!

Hi
was wondering if someone could help out

I installed Cities in motion and everything was fine but when i go to start the game it says steam is preparing to start cities in motion the screen flashes black and then goes back to the desktop it does this everytime i try to start the game?

i have downloaded the patch 14 with no effect

in the steam file everytime this happens this file appears

cities in motion_1052399_crash_2011_4_22T16_10_30C0.mdmp

any ideas?

if it helps i have just managed to find out my grapic cards spec and it is Nvidia geforce4 MX 440 with AGP8X
the game asks for Nvidia Geforce 8800 so im guessing mine is very outdated!

Wow, I had this graphic card almost 10 years ago..
Sorry, You can't run the game with this card.

thanks i figured that. i have now put it on my lap top and it works but lags ie move cursor wait a second then it moves on the screen which makes the game unplayable, i have changed all grapics setting to off or low and this helped a little but lag is still quite bad?

If you want to make it run a little better, shut down all not necessary processes in the background (like skype). Also, change the second view (The little screen in the bottom right corner) to data view (The notebook).
It might help the game to run smoother, but it still sounds that your laptop is not good enough to get the game to run good.
