Cities in Motion Management Championship 2, is designed to be a place where you can learn how to play, train, play with friends, play to beat yourself or participate in matches against other players. It is the main location to find information and meet players.

a trolley turn around

If you look carefully at 1.45 - 1.47 you can see that the trams can turn around in an intersection. This will solve the whole looping them around streets to turn.

One of my fears was that they would need to loop around, and with them not being able to have track off of the roads or thewalkways, would make this difficult. But the tram turnaround in the intersections will solve this issue.

*1:41* and no, the right track is turning left and the left track is coming from the right. Too bad

I've been waiting for some gameplay footage for ages, there hasn't really been any besides the 2 trailers and some really early alpha footage.

One thing I have noticed, why are the roads basically empty? It's a massive city but the streets look dead. Where has all the traffic gone? You have given us roads with multiple traffic lanes and bus lanes, but there is no reason to use them if the roads are this quiet. I hope this is fixed in the final release, the traffic in CIM 1 could be annoying, but it made the game interesting and a challenge, and I could spend ages just watching the CIMs go about their business. It's the same in all the screenshots I have seen, the roads are empty.

Also, why do the cars have their headlights on all the time, it just looks bad. I know most modern cars have driving lights, but they are not normally that bright and they wouldn't light up the road ahead of them like that during daytime.

I understand this is beta footage but i really hope it will be fixed.

Beside that, it looks good. The only thing I hope will be released as DLC in the future is more buildings, I'm not really liking the generic concrete tower block look of most of the buildings, maybe I will see if I can convert some CIM1 buildings after release...

The amount of work put in the graphics is admirable. This is what I had hoped for in SimCity. I can tell this is going to be a game like none other I've played.
That is, if I can get it to work on a laptop with Intel HD Integrated Graphics...

You can see a suburb at 0:32. If I knew people were so eager for more videos I would have made a video showing night time, buses, crowed areas, more close up scenes, highways, etc. But now its too late. More will come after the release, more detailed and slow.

Eager for more videos? Hasn't it been evident with all the pleading people have been doing asking for some more footage! :)

Amazing vid there so I aswell would have loved to see a bit more crowded places. Also right at the beginning you could have show the time where it is still night but getting day already and at around 2:06 where the music slows down again you could have faded back into some night time material to close the circle. Other than that it is better than the official trailer IMHO.

Updated Frequent Asked Questions! Take a look: http://citiesinmotion2.wikispaces.com/Frequent+Asked+Questions

1) What is the difference between weekdays and Friday?
On Friday evening there is more leisure travelling than other weekdays.

2) What is the difference between Saturday and Sunday?
On Sunday there is even less people going to work than on Saturday.

3) If a vehicle is 1 minute late, is enough to make the cim complain?
Nope, it needs to be clearly late.

4) If all vehicles needs to meet schedule, no matter what, better stops/stations only means more attractive? How much more attractive? 20% more attractive?
Different stops/vehicles have different quality values, but the actual effect of it depends on many factors such as social group.

5) How long does a cim wait in the station until he get pissed off and leave?
Each citizen has a different tolerance for waiting.

6) Is there a limit of how many times a cim can change lines or type of transportation to reach the destination?
There is no limit, but each change makes the estimated travel time longer, thus less likely to be used. Also if there are different vehicle types it's likely to increase the total cost of the trip (Depending on how you have set the ticket prices).

7) How far can someone walk to get a line?
Around 150 meters, however the total walking distance also affects the estimated travel time.

8) How far must be the destination so a cim can consider using public transportation?
There is no absolute limit, but for short distances it needs to be extremely optimal to be chosen instead of walking (Short distance to the stops, cheap ticket prices etc)

9) Can I really decrease the traffic of the city with a great public transportation system?
It's possible. However, the most profitable and the most attractive public transportation is not necessarily the same system.
